Mr. Applegate is a Partner at Cantor Fitzgerald Wealth Partners. He is a recognized financial planner and investment advisor with over 40 years of experience advising large publicly traded corporations, non-profit organizations and closely held businesses. Rick also works with individual business owners, internationally known athletes, executives and professionals on financial planning and asset allocation issues.

Mr. Applegate and his staff are contracted by retirement plans to guide plan trustees on what the Department of Labor considers to be "best fiduciary practices". These best practices are an expert standard that Rick helped pioneer back in 1998 as one of the very first practitioners in the country to be certified as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst. A frequent speaker on the topic of fiduciary practices and the investment marketplace, Plan Adviser magazine has recognized Rick as one of the "best of the best" retirement plan advisors in the country.

Rick is designated as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst™, Chartered Financial Consultant®, Chartered Life Underwriter® and holds Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 Securities licenses. He also earned a Masters in Taxation from Robert Morris University and has taught classes at the Duquesne University School of Leadership for their Certified Financial Planning Program.
