CFWP ADVISOR TEAMS' PERSPECTIVE
What makes Cantor Fitzgerald Wealth Partners such an attractive platform for serving high, ultra-high-net-worth and institutional clients? We asked members of our advisor teams for their perspective...
George Luciani joined CFWP after building a successful independent advisory practice. Like many advisors, he found that he could better serve the needs of his clients, who are primarily professionals, professional groups and executives, by partnering with a firm with strong resources and capabilities.
At CFWP, he continues to operate autonomously, while benefiting from “Cantor Fitzgerald’s global reach.” As an advisor who takes a hands-on approach to his clients’ portfolios, George considers the greatest advantages of the CFWP platform to be “on the investment side: access to a wider range of investment strategies and products, and to Cantor Fitzgerald’s research and technical analysis.” He also noted that “collaboration with colleagues and management has been extremely valuable in generating new ideas for clients.”
Rick Applegate has built an outstanding reputation as an advisor and co-fiduciary to retirement plans, working closely with plan sponsors, and in particular, non-profit institutions, to establish and maintain best practices in all aspects of their fiduciary responsibilities. Today, Rick and his CFWP advisory team serve as co-fiduciary on over $3 billion in retirement plan assets.
Rick believes his clients benefit from the strong name and reputation of Cantor Fitzgerald. “Our clients recognize the brand and the firm’s long history in the institutional marketplace, so it’s a good fit,” Rick said. At the same time, he noted, “CFWP is a new business within Cantor Fitzgerald with great potential for growth. This is particularly true in the retirement plan space, serving plan sponsors and trustees on a nationwide basis as co-fiduciaries, which is our goal looking ahead, and as we begin to explore the synergies between CFWP’s advisory teams.”
